“We rarely succeed at anything unless we have fun doing it.”
This quote comes from Father John Naus, S.J., philosophy professor and chaplain. He gave me this sign, which hangs next to my office door in Cudahy Hall.
This summer I overheard Father Naus introduce himself to students in Zilber Hall like this: “I’ve been here 47 years. I came on the canoe with Father Marquette.”
At age 87, Father Naus serves as chaplain of the Alumni Memorial Union. He’s still having fun.
many reasons I love Marquette so much. What a legend.
is so true. i am the best at things i love. that’s probably why i did not do well on
